Each of us can live out Grace Avenue's Vision and Mission statement as we find an area within the church community where we can serve and grow in our own faith while offering a Home for others.

Serve at Grace Avenue

  • Spiritual Home Team

    Focus on evanglism including marketing, inviting, hospitality and guest relations ministries including greeting

  • Emotional Home Team

    Focus on caring ministries including mental health support, recovery groups, meals, home visits

  • Physical Home Team

    Participate in hands-on service including Summer Lunch, Building the Bridges, ESL, mission trips, local nonprofits

  • Worship Team

    Opportunities to serve throuhg ushering, choirs, assisting with communion, Silver Link, online hosting, and altar guild.

  • Connectional Ministry Teams

    Interest in serving on age-level teams (Children's, Youth, Adults)

  • Media Team

    Assist media, sound, and live-streaming for worship and events.

  • Staff Care Team

    Work with Staff parish Relations Committee on ways to recognize/celebrate GAUMC Staff. Do you have HR experience?

  • Building and Grounds Team

    Participate with Trustees on Work Days to help with maintenance projects and enhancement of our church building

  • Hospitality Team

    Provides support for receptions and all-church events

  • Operations Team

    Connections with vendors, financing, land development

  • Member Engagement Team

    Focus on cultivating commitment to 4G Faith: Gather, Grow, Go, & Give and helping people find places to connect

  • Community Connection Team

    Interfaith events, Church & Social Justice Teams, Advocacy work

  • Social Enterprise Team

    Creating and implementing new business offerings that support community and offer additional revenue streams for ministry

  • Endowment Team

    Experience with legacy gifts/foundations, marketing skills, expertise with grant writing/funding/distribution
